Choosing Between an Onsite Garage or Prefab Garage
The first question you want to ask yourself before investing in a new garage is how will it be used? Do you need one garage door or multiple doors. If you are looking for a 2 car garage, or multi-car garage, then the decision is already made. Our prefabricated garage options are limited to one car while our onsite garages often have 2-3 doors.
The next question is how much space do you have? Many people don’t realize they can own a prefab modular garage shed, which takes up very little room and allows you to protect your vehicles, riding mowers, toys, and valuables from the elements. We have two different models to choose from and sizes range from 12×16 to 16×40.
Another question we get a lot is, “How long are your lead times?” Typically speaking, we are able to deliver a portable prefab garage shed anywhere from 1-6 weeks, depending on the season. Our onsite garage lead time is usually 8-12 weeks depending on the time of year and how many garage kits we have on our build list. How Much will an Onsite Garage Cost?
This price can range anywhere from $15-30k for one of our standard onsite garage packages. For example for a standard 24×24 two car garage, you will spend anywhere from $15-20k, excluding the price of your concrete slab, foundation, and electrical. For a larger 28×36 3 car garage, you might spend somewhere around $25-30k. The best thing to do is to ASK us about your specific project. How Much Does a Prefab Garage Cost?

What information do I need to have with me when I come in to purchase my garage?
Working with your Woodtex Sales Advisor is a breeze! Come with an idea of the size and style you need, and we'll plan the details with you. It's helpful to bring along a photo of the location where you structure will be placed. To place an order for your structure, you will need to provide a deposit of 35% of your purchase (in the form of Check, Cash, Money order, or Credit Card).
How long will it take for me to get my garage?
Timeframe varies on location, time of year, our work load, and type of building you are purchasing. At the time of your order and deposit, we will provide an approximate time frame for delivery.
